This is Blabberize! This is one of my favorite web 2.0 tools to use, especially with my younger students. It is a great presentation tools after the students do research on a particular topic.
Suggested project steps:
1. Research/learn about topic.
2. Create a picture of what they learned about (works well if they researched a person or animal). I like having the students draw or create their own pictures, so we don't run into copyright problems:)
3. Scan picture using document scanner. Save scanned picture as JPG.
4. Upload JPG into Blabberize.
5. Maneuver, shape mouth in Blabberize.
6. Give it a voice!
7. Save project.
8. The final Blabberize can be embedded into a wiki or blog (like the sample from above.)
